The New Diplomacy

Overview

The New Diplomacy was a conference dedicated to exploring Youth, Global Security, and Ethical Technology in an increasingly complex world.

Held on December 06, 2025, in Istanbul, the conference was co-organized by CSYGA and TİSYA, bringing together students, academics, diplomats, and youth leaders to engage with some of the most pressing challenges of our time.

Structured as a Diplomatic Simulation Conference, The New Diplomacy aimed to equip participants with practical tools for understanding global decision-making, conflict resolution, and ethical responsibility in technology and governance.

Discussions throughout the conference focused on three core areas: global security and modern conflict, the regulation and impact of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, and the protection of human rights in an era of rapid change.

Beyond the dialogue itself, TİSYA played a central operational role in ensuring the success of the conference. As a youth-led organization, TİSYA was responsible for managing participant experience, on-ground coordination, and engagement throughout the event.

From welcoming delegates and managing attendance flow to documenting panels and capturing digital content, the TİSYA team worked to ensure that the conference was not only impactful, but accessible, organized, and inclusive.

The New Diplomacy stands as a reflection of TİSYA’s commitment to supporting youth participation in global conversations — not only as attendees, but as active contributors to the spaces where ideas and policies are shaped.
